DESCRIPTION
The dolphinarium water filtering tanks in l’Oceanogràfic were in really poor condition because all the rust gathered with years and years use. To face this problem we decided to perform an anticorrosive treatment in the interior of all the filtering tanks, and we had to undertake one by one as the facilities and the dolphinarium shows had to keep working as usual.
Considering all factors intervening in the best solution, we decided to perform a C5-M high resistance marine anticorrosive treatment, which is the systems that fits best for this kind of problem and these tanks in particular.
After a sandblasting and profound surface cleaning, we let the surface dry completely to then begin with the epoxy protective primer and the final polyurethane coating.
