DESCRIPTION
At the new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Torres de la Alameda, a long-term solution was required for the large digester, which needed to be fully watertight not only against water but also against the gases generated inside.
For this reason, a polyurea waterproofing system was selected, applied both to the interior of the digester and to the roof structure that forms its cover, where the gas piping systems are located.
